Mission Scientist for 3MI (Multi -View -Channel -Polarisation Imaging mission) within the Cloud and Aerosol Science team (part of the Remote Sensing and Products division of EUMETSAT).
Former position at the Max-Planck Institute for Chemistry on remote sensing of the of the earth atmosphere with focus on formaldehyde (HCHO) retrieval from satellite-based instrument like GOME, SCIAMACHY and GOME-2. The results were used to get information about sources, sinks and trends over specific regions (monitoring of biomass burning, biogenic emission, ship pollution).
